Bible Study

THE-CROSS.jpg

Children grow healthy bodies by eating the right food. Christians grow healthy hearts and minds by eating the right food too. God's Word is the 'Bread of Life' and 'Living Water' that makes strong and healthy children of God. Spiritually healthy people are actively involved in bible study – individually and in conversation with others. At The Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, we consider bible study to be one of the two main courses we serve, along with worship. We offer several opportunities for bible study so that there might be something to fit everyone's taste and schedule.

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study Forum
Sunday at 8:45am.
This year, the Sunday morning Adult Bible Study Forum will focus on two, New Testament books – Acts of the Apostles and 1st Corinthians. Both books are very important for the contemporary Christian as we strive to witness to the world about Jesus Christ and as we strive to life by faith in a faithless world.

  1. Rev Seth Jones says:

    Dear Pastor Nielsen,

I discovered your sermon from June 28, 2010 on the fruit of the Holy Spirit. I am preaching on the fruit of patience this weekend and wanted to thank you for helping inspire me. If you don't mind, I may use the Abraham legend and some of the structure of your sermon. I would acknowledge you, of course.

May the peace and patience of the Holy Spirit be with you.
    In Christ,
    Pastor Seth Jones
